With declines in viewership of live events, including red carpets and award shows, an entertainment company had a burning need to understand where the future of the genre lies.

Vital Findings’ goal was to go beyond what was already known to discover where the ultimate, live-event potential exists, and where new formats can be invented. Using an iterative methodology, we blended synthesis, expert interviews, crowdsourcing and co-creation to define the current state of live events and to project their future evolution.
