Monica is passionate about crafting stories that uncover and highlight human truths.

As a researcher, she brings an ethical and social justice framework in her research process. Over the years, she has acquired a balanced mix of both qualitative and quantitative methodologies including, survey design, interviews, focus groups, and ethnographies. Prior to joining Vital Findings, she worked in the nonprofit sector researching and analyzing human rights policy and reform in Ethiopia. Monica graduated from Gonzaga University with a BA in Communication Studies and a minor in English.
