Chief Strategy Officer

Iwan brings a unique planning perspective to brands and the business of technology.

As Vital Findings’ CSO, Iwan works with the leadership team on company strategy, marketing and innovation efforts. Based in San Francisco, he brings decades of experience from assignments in Silicon Valley and the wider digital world and also works to support and expand the Vital Findings’ technology practice.

Originally from the UK, Iwan has a diverse background of advertising, insights and innovation work from around the world. He joins Vital Findings from CX agency Material+ where he was a partner leading programs across insights, innovation, and design. Prior to this, he was instrumental in the growth and development of Greenberg Strategy, a Bay Area insights agency that was acquired by the Material+ group in 2019. He has worked with the world’s leading technology brands both as a communications planner and as an insights consultant, with wider experience in beverage, fashion, travel, media, sports, and retail. 

Iwan holds a BA in English and American literature from the University of Kent at Canterbury, and has taught account planning at the Miami Ad School and for the AAAA in Northern California. He and his family live in San Francisco, sharing in the ever hopeful support of Giants baseball and Welsh rugby.
